Are you brokenhearted? Are you crushed deep inside? Come to Jesus. You’re the one He is looking for.
“I don’t know how else to pray a perfect prayer…” – At some of my most difficult times, I faced up to this (problem) and in my humanity, I cried out desperately with words and groans that just can’t seem to suffice all my pain, struggles, and the help I so needed from God. Does anyone faced this too?
I knew I’ve come to the end of me and only God can help. Yet I do not know how to reach Him. I do not know how to pray just that perfect prayer to be heard. People seems to pray it right and they are heard. Yet I struggled to word out all that is in my heart. The pain was too deep; beyond my words. But you know what? He came through anyway for me!
There is one thing we all got to know – Yes, we may not be able to word a perfect prayer at such distressing moments especially when one is experiencing intense pain, sickness or even trauma, BUT God has the perfect answer. He already has it. He is ready to answer you; whether you manage with few desperate words like – “God, please help me!” or just uncontrollable tears and wail that don’t seem to clear up. Prayer is a language of our heart. God can understand that. It doesn’t take a bible scholar to be heard. It doesn’t take a person with good knowledge of God and the Bible to be heard and answered. All it takes is a contrite heart.
He will come to our rescue because He loves us. He will provide the answer we need.So come as you are to Him and don’t hold back anymore. No one can keep you out of the reach of Jesus except yourself. So come, dear friends – ready or not; whatever situations you are facing now. Just come as you are to Jesus today. He is waiting to hear and answer you. He has the answer. The moment you come to Him, He comes to you. Just come.
Psalm 51: 16-17 (The Message)
Going through the motions doesn’t please You,
a flawless performance is nothing to You.
I learned God-worship
when my pride was shattered.
Heart-shattered lives ready for love
don’t for a moment escape God’s notice.
